When you install RateMate, we access and store only the data necessary to provide the app’s functionality:

• Your Shopify store URL
• Product data (to associate ratings with specific products)
• Review and rating data submitted by customers
• Shop information (such as email, name, and store details provided via Shopify API)
• Customer email addresses (only when submitted through a review form, to verify authenticity)

We do not access or store any personal customer information unless it is explicitly submitted through the review form (e.g., name or email).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to:

• Enable and display product reviews and ratings
• Associate reviews with the correct products
• Verify the authenticity of submitted reviews by checking customer email against Shopify customer data
• Improve the app experience and provide customer support

We do not share or sell your data with third parties.
